It actually sounds like its a Pseudoplatystoma corruscans
But it could also be the RTCxTSN nothings for sure till we get pics though.

bot those shovelnose cat a few years back and i must say ... they grow preety darn fast for my liking
I just bought 2 RTCxTSN and they are awesome! They are light grey on top with vivid black spots from head to tail and solid white underneath. They are VERY active and have huge appetites. Ive got them in with my similar sized Pbass and they get along fine. I dont feed them near as much as I feed the Pbass, i dont want them to grow so fast that they eat them! (Cuz they will) lol
