just recently i bought a 370g:naughty: fish tank and really didnt think about how i was going to get it in the house:screwy:... the tank was supposed to be in my fish room but sadly.... it was too tall and wide for my doorway:ROFL:..... so i am forced to move my fish room and switch it with my extra "storage" room.... welp the reason i plan on switching them is because 1. duh i cant fit it in my fish room 2. the other reason is i can get it in my extra room because it has a massive window...

anyone else ever done that?
btw heres my soon to be set up tank... :headbang2

my one rule i had from the girlfriend was i could by as big a tank as i wanted but couldnt cut a hole or knock down a wall. i got a 8x4x2 since that was about as big as would fit without building it in the basement. to answer your question... no i thought about it first

i wish i had the freedom to cut holes in in my walls... dont think the landlord would be to happy lol....

to be honest i was goin to buy a pretty parge tank and didnt even think about getting it in the house looool

I got my 220 in front of a big window. I intentionally let the back and side panels of the glass grow solid layers of algae so that they sort of function as a natural background and provide a little food for the plecs. It's a pretty heavily planted tank, though, so I think the light is actually not bad for it.

I had a 370 cube tank that was WAY to wide for any windows, doors, or any other entrances....ended up trading it for a tank that would fit..lol
