I am looking to buy a Range Rover off Ebay and I was wondering if it was safe to do so. The seller has 100% positive feed back. And one last question, Range Rovers are usually expensive, but the buy it now price looks too good to be true. Like I said the seller had 100% feed back so I was wondering if that is the price I pay. Thank you.

Here is their ebay page http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/empireautos11/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

I glanced over the sellers creds - he is pretty clean - member since 2000, top seller, good feedback - honestly, I do Ebay and there isn't much cleaner of a report than that. I don't know how he is getting the cars, but if he was frauding them out it would surely have shown up by now. Even I had a buyer freak on me before and scar my record once, you have some protections already available to you to - Registered New York State Motor Vehicle Retail Dealer # 7104782 just to name one. I am even considering saving him for future reference for myself, some dang nice cars for sale.

Range Rovers have terrible resale value and depreciate fast so take that into account. But I have bought a car off of ebay before and had a great experience with it. I had it shipped from southern florida to ky for about 500 dollars through one of the companies ebay recommends.

hire someone to inspect the car.. don' t buy it unseen.. even if the seller is an honest seller.. there is a chance that something can be wrong with the car.. you need to hold someone accountable...if something is major wrong.. i have purchased a car on ebay.. i was lucky.. great car.. but i want to give honest advice.. " it is taking a chance".. to buy a car that has not been looked over by a qualified person..And that is the bottom line..

i would never buy a car i didn't see in person and test drive. but that's just me, i don't trust anyone, lol

at least do a check on the title of the car. i stay away from salvage titles

Seriously tho, I've bought several vehicles on ebay, always had good experiences. My big thing is ALWAYS contact the seller personally to feel them out... I've found you can tell pretty quickly who's the real deal and who's scamming.

I bought a car from ebay back in 2001. It was halfway across the country, but before I flew out to drive it home I had my brother who lived in the area test drive it for me. Told the seller I would back out if he didn't approve. Turned out to be a great car for a great deal...

just drive it before you pay for it.
