Have you decided what you are gonna get yet... Everyone offered Veiled and Panther. Those are widely available as captive bread, get fairly large, and are easy to keep.

If you get the chameleon young enough you may be able to tame it for hand feeding. Very cool. My Parsonii was WC and never took to being handled.

the veilds are great but please read up on them,i think i handled mine too much now that i look back.He would get so mad lean sideways with mouth open.Keep a good size tall cage high off the ground with plenty of hide trees.they drink from the leaves or moving water so have fun misting all the time, sometimes those drip deals work.Phone rang ill be back, lol.

keep a good diet going, uvb, make sure they are drinking, good basking lamp,i kept paper towel or nothing on the bottom since he realy wasnt down their much.As his feet got larger he liked those bamboo sticks i placed diaganal in their too. They realy like to think they are invisable but when you got a cricket in your hand they could care less.Im not saying your a noob, just know some noob might read this some day.Dont leave them in the hot sun for too long or in extreem cold.Diet is very important, look it up.Best of luck, hope at least one of my words gave any help, lol.I say the tall cage high up earleir because it seemed he could never get high enough in them trees,no matter where you put him he just wanted higher, lol. So watch if hes on your shoulder or head and you walk under something he can reach because if he does it will climb off into someplace you may never find it.
