Buying Dats online?

I think there are 2 that are brackish...the silver and 1 other. I can tell you the indo's are freswater and I believe the thin bar and wide bar.
 
best datnoid info around is from people on this site... Alot of people know there stuff, and googles info is never consistent in this hobby.

AT=Silver dats are kept brackish at times... however mine is in full FW. can be an aggressive eater.

ST=Widebar = PRICEY, but the holy grail of dats

IT=Indo = Cheapest and most common dat around

NTT=Thinbar = Another datnoid thats relatively cheap and common.

NGT= NEw Guinea = Generally more aggressive then other dats PRICEY at times.
 
whatever you do, don't buy dats from **************** their dat selection and title can be a little misleading, another member on here got jipped by them, like, they display/post a pulcher on their website for sale but it was really a thin bar ntt for sale. so be careful, its best if you buy from our vender on here.
 
i don't usually buy from online stores because i wanna see the fish personally first before buying it. though its true that there are reputable vendors in the web, i would really prefer to be given time to observe the fish first before shelling out my money.
 
i know some people dont have any choce but to buy on line but a tiger you realy need to buy your self

you will look in a tank full of tigers and their will be 1 thats stand out and says buy me it will have good color and look great

if you buy on line you may get the blackest of black tigers that will never look nice
