Buying fish from a not-so-LFS

The flagtails and severum were bubbled on hour intervuls. The Paratroplus went the whole way in an O2 filled bag.
So both are fine.
But I mean, Even if the LFS doesnt use O2, 2 hours in the bag aint bad.
They're a good store, they should have oxygen to put into the bags. If not, ask if they have oxygen tablets. Even the lower grade stores by me will give you a few tabs for the ride back.
Two hours is nothing. We drove back from Atlanta with a number of bagged fish. Most were done with just the old hand grab amount of air and two were bagged with O2 the morning before. Not a single loss on the trip.
Yeah, 2 hours is nothing. I drove fish back from Kansas to Wisconsin, 7+ hours. Big bags with a lot of air and styro boxes. Then you're golden.
You will be fine... I was up there last month and my fish were in the bag for a bout an hour and a half. They pump oxygen into the bag so you will be fine. They handel there fish great and after that car ride, i acclimated them and they were off in the tank like nothing ever happened
Big Tim beat me to it about the oxygen,I can get there in just under two hours from Philly never had problems transporting fish from there,hope you enjoy the trip I have'nt been out there since April.Ditto on the Sons of Anarchy episode,one of the best shows on tv along with the Sheild.
