Thanks for all the great info everyone! It sounds like I don't really have to worry quite so much! I'm going to go check out all of the places suggested! I'm just wondering now how easy it is to get the sex of the fish you want...I'm sure I'll see as soon as I check 'em out...THANKS!:D

When buying fish online try to buy smaller fish as they are easier to ship and have better chance of surviving. Also, buy from reputable sellers, and as for malawi cichlids i have no idea. haha good luck

daver rare fish is a little pricey at times but quality is nice. i ordered from dykemyster.com recently, he carries rare stuff but his customer service wasn't all that great in handling what i actually wanted to order.

I recently purchased 12 each of c moori, acei, and electric yellows from live fish direct. They are all alive after 3 weeks and look great. In fact he sent 2 extra of each type so I received 42 in total paid for 36. I'd buy again when I get another tank.

I've never ordered any living creatures from an online source. I tend to do it the old-fashioned way and drive for fish. I'll drive to nearby cities within a 4 hour drive of my locale. It's a great way to increase the variety of fish that are available to me and do a little sightseeing.

I totally endorse Dave's Rare fish. selection is outstanding and the fish are really healthy. Check out the Hap Ruby green in the background of the peacock I posted today. River City Aquatics is pretty outstanding as well.
