anybody know any good websites? I'm getting a corn snake this april and wanted to stock up.

I used Rodentpro, they were good! then I found a local person so there is no need to get them shipped here anymore.

Rodent pro is good.

Something to think is it worth online ordering for one snake. Shipping usually runs $60. Usually 25-50 is minmum order. When you get your snake assuming it is a hatchling he will be eating pinkies. In about 3 months he will be able to take bigger food. So there is another $60.00 in shipping. So it may not be the rite idea if you have a local store. Where I live there is a store where you can get mice for under $1.00 froozen. With the $60 in shipping that almost buys you a years worth of food. Something else I am not completely sure on is how long the mouse can stay in the freezer for. I personally do not go over two months.

If you have no option of a pet store. I would maybe try get some people to go in on an order. Maybe find a local herp club to see if someone will order with you.

yeah well where i live they cost $2.25 a piece in stores and 10 bucks isn't cheap for a month worth of food. ends up being $120 of food per year, not to mention the bedding and electricity. I think it would be worth it to order in bulk online.

I suggest going to the local pet store. a lot of times they get pregnant mice in, and freeze the babies.

$2.25 a mouse is highway robbery. I would not give them busienss either. If there a herp club around see if someone can split shipping with you.

so is that how you do it? just freeze them alive? no special freezing techniques?
