Why not try eBay? Petsmart will charge you retail. Check out bay and save.

Substrate pro is great media but not cheap. Ebay has some of the best deals I have seen. Good choice on the filter OP

I bought the 2217 today, should be here in a few days. Where do i get replacment media for it?

As for replacement media, you shouldnt need to replace often. The most you would replace would be the white filter pad, though you could always use filter wool instead of the white filter pad since there like 12 bucks for 1. The blue corse pad only needs replacing when it gets flat. you dont need to change the mech rings or the substra. Dont worry about getting substra pro since they give you that instead of the regular substra(i got substra pro instead of the regular substra when i ordered mines).

Mine have been running great for three years, i just rinse the media and put new floss in every three months on a rotation for my heavily stocked 90

Im wanting a filter that is going to keep my water crystal clear!! I have a 55g that might be slighlty overstocked.
The 2217 will most definitely give you the crystal clear water you're looking for. I had a 2215 on a 60g that did the trick. The 2217 will do the trick that much better.
