Someone had a loiselli leap a couple of months back, was fine for a few days until it started really showing the damage of being out of the water for so long.

hmmm there are a lot of supplemental water conditioner things that help promote slime development on fish. go look for some. i would add some aquarium salt and make sure there is a lot of aeration and gentle water movement.
sorry to hear something like this... it's terrible when a fish jumps

hope he makes it.. Lots of stress coat, aeration, and a powerhead would be what will keep him alive.

i'll take some pics of his damaged body, he is covered in pink coating (some sort of slime i guess) and all of his fins had turned whitish and dry, he even has some ants still stuck to him.

i've added some salt and melafix to his tank, now we'll see what happen.

oh yeah, i didn't mean to laugh when i typed bwahahaha, it was supposed to be a crying sound. is there any word that can described it better?

I had a synodontis multipunctatus jump out one night before I went to bed, my dog found it for me and was messing with it, I saw her and told her to stop but never checked to see what she was messing with. The next morning I found the "holey" multi all dried up
