wow. I have been thinking about getting pikes lately, but i know there will be to much of a conflect unless i get a species tank just for them

Depends on your fish, only reason i did species tanks with my pikes with my pikes is because I love them so much. you can keep them with other fish, a lot of the time the compliment each other perfectly. you just gotta plan smart and not be stupid when pickin tank mates!

female is close to 8" and the male is a tad smaller. cant really get a decent shot of the male as he hang in the back corner almost underneath the wood.

They've only been eating rr's & g's so I might just do a week of live food to faten em up a lil more then let them go till they take shrimp or frozen.

Beautiful fish! I'm glad they went to a caring home ... they do eat f/t krill - try to stay off the live feeders whenever possible!

male took shrimp, I think and the female gobbled down almost every mysis cube so no need for live food with them except maybe once a week treat.
