Bye Bye....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm sorry to hear that, NBK... I hope the future brings in something great for you. Making sacrifices sometimes pays off. I hope the best for you. :)

Dang that sucks. I hope your back soon.

have you considered simply downsizing?

eg. there are a lot of nice tank sizes that come in 4 foot lengths that would not take up very much room. eg. a 75 or 90 etc.?
Yeah, you should put it at the head of your bed or something.
Or find some way to intergrate the tank into your furniture.

good luck with the new home.

It will be fine :)
But don't worry I have no intention of entirely leaving MFK, just can't post up pics anymore. At least not of my own.

Yeah, it was a major sacrifice... but there was no other realistic option - I tried the unrealistic ones first of course ;)

Yeah, well I've negociated with the BF that in a couple of months when the flat is more ready and we can see what space we do have that maybe I'll get something small... but 75-90 still won't be...it'll be more like 10 - 15g. So maybe a nice siamese fighter or something along those lines. No guppies.

We can't stay at this place forever and one of the semi conditions was when we move again in a couple of years that the next place I'm getting a mega tank.

But it is really small and we have to make use of almost every inch that we have as it is. Moving to Amsterdam is great but flats there are really small... but as i've said above...I'm keeping my eyes open for a space where i can maybe fit something tiny in.. The way i see it, better super tiny than nothing at all. lol.

So! Thank you all for your kind messages! I won't be leaving MFK totally - I'll stick around and stalk other photos while drooling in utter jealousy! haha.

But wait and see... some time in the future i'll be back with a majorly nice set up, that is for certain!

I've got visitation rights to the tank after moving it last night. Think the old neigbors are going to need a lot of help initially anyway so i'll see my babies soon, and even try to still hopefully get some photos of them :)

Handing over the tank reminded me of the first day I got my first one - I forgot how complicated it all sounded at first... I could almost see the panic in their faces! LOL.

You could always try something like one of these. I almost built a cofee table aquarium, but my brother broke the glass:(. O well do whatever you can. Just dont stop posting, you still can help people with their /v\onsters. Well good night. Or good morning as it were.

Lol.... I love the toilet tank - that is classic.

I'm sure I'll get something soon.... even if i can only keep one little siamese fighting fish or something.

That's too bad to hear.
When you decide to move from the city, come live in the countryside.
You're allways welcome in Gelderland. lol, my neighbours house is empty right now, but Ede will be quite a change from the big city...
House are bigger over here, but Im sure you got your reasons to stay in Amsterdam.
Good luck, i bet you'll find a bigger house soon enough!

No wonder i haven't seen u on for awhile.. So sad... Hope you can get some tank setup back... and hope to see more of you!

you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.. *singing*
