I only pop into the lounge when I'm extremely bored - there has to be better things to do, I just simply can't think of them at the moment. If it ever got to the point of where I felt I needed to leave a farewell note to a bunch of people I hardly know I think I might seriously reconsider how much time I spend on the computer.

Take a break, find what you like to do - just because you keep your mind occupied with this drivel doesn't mean you're not bored.

Seriously, sounds like you need to take a break from the internet for a few weeks and find some new things to occupy your time - or sort things out in the real world and not ignore it with a bulletin board. I don't know you well enough to say which one it is.
