Beautiful fish, grows fast, gets huge. I have a baby now, but I regreted trading in my big ones. The turquoise in the body was amazing.

Actually really good, he soon became biggest fish in tank and when more aggressive smaller fish would attack other fish it seemed like he would swim by and break it up, LOL. I'm at work but I will see if I can find some old pics.

My absolute favorite fish.
What do you need to know?
1.They grow quickly(as already stated above)and will dominate a tank but nothing to drastic.My male was 13 inches in about 12 months.
2.Eat like vacumm cleaners(feed mine hikari gold pellets,peas,romaine lettuce,earthworms,crickets,green bell peppers,and krill)romaine lettuce is thier favorite.
3.Love large water changes(i do 80% once a week)large water changes really help maintain their color.
4.are very powerful fish,large driftwood and large rocks work well,(mine have moved large flower pots like they were card board boxes)and have broken several heaters(now i only use the titanium heaters with them,no glass at all)

One of my faves, and wish I still had mine. I plan to get another sometime in the not too distant future...

They are on the gentle side of large CAs. I kept them with juvie cyano's, JDs and cons, and they did well together.
