I presently have 4 , all 12"+. They are about 2 1/2 years old and just now are showing signs of breeding. I find very little difference physically between the sexes. Fairly gentle temperment, (similar to 'pearsei') do well for me in a large mixed CA tank. Here's a pic of one of them.

I actually saw a pic of buddha's and had to have one. I have both a Bocourti and a pearsei in my 220. They are by far the fastest growing cichlids I have ever owned. They have already outgrown all the other cichlids in the tank but are still extremely mild. I absolutely love them both!
