nice work raising that pair.

Thanks John...how you been man...its been some time.

Beautiful pair, and tank.
Thank you

Cutteri - very underrated, and yours are awesome!
They are indeed...like i was telling Bellycrawlers, when they spawn they claim nearly half of the 10' tank.

Gorgeous - remind me of mine right now, just for clarification, the grayer of the two, is that the male or the female?

That would be the female. My male seldom gets as black and white as she does. Normally its only when i put my face up to the tank and aggetate them while they're gaurding.

I love the pair! I have two, not a pair, that tend to fight more than anything. Maybe I should get a few more to see if a pair forms. Keep up the solid work with the Cutteri and with the rest of your stock.

I originally picked up 3(1m 2f) and they paired off fairly quick. They really have a strong bond. Now I'm hoping I can get my new lyonsi pair to gt it on.

These guys look amazing and I'm loving your tank setup!

Thanks a lot. The tank actually changes almost monthly. Now I've added live plants that seem to be hanging in there even though I catch my young bocourti nipping at them.

Hmmm, all my cutteri look like your male then. A couple have the black dorsal dot, and the largest does not. At 1.5" ish should I see sexual differences?

Honestly i'm not sure at that size. I picked mine up at 2.5". The only way i could distinguish male and female was the male had more purpleish/red hue to his caudal.

Good call, my possible male (largest of the 5) has that red/purple hue as well, and my suspected female (with the dorsal dot) does not, just blue spangles in hers
