um... okay what ever all that ment this bass is wild and one of two in the us so it is exactly what i say it is my friend and what the **** is "stay thirsty my friend" supposed to be ?

Because that is local that was imported into Japan as by Seiichi Hamada who than exported a few into the US. Mark Linton (Scatocephalus) was the only person in the country with these fish. Now Joshs801 has one and I'm not sure where the other has gone... Maybe Mark could fill us in. You are correct Sao Francisco is a river in Bahia but it originates in Minas Gerias. Cichla kelberi 'bahia' do look similar to C. kelberi 'Sao Francisco' but I am not convinced it is the same fish. Seiichi himself said they were but these fish still look very different to me. Not as much as say C. kelberi 'Ceara' and C. kelberi 'Minas Gerias'. This thread isn't intended to be a discussion on the fish so let's keep it on topic from here on out.
