Thx Clint ! . . . . and all other admirers of this particular lenticulata!
They are slowly bulking up and growing, currently in a bigger tank. Female started getting feisty - took a chunk outta the larger males tail fin! So we have a temporary divider, both boys on one side. Damaged caudal fin should be OK, pikes are resilient......
Just another chapter in the Pike Chronicals . . . . always an epic adventure!
I know I lost my lent on friday. Came home and he was missing an entire gill plate. I am guessing he got into a fracas with the big sp. lugubris. That is about the only fish in the tank that would mess with him.
All three are doing well ! both females look good, the smaller one is with the male - he is still skinny...... They all have kept their dark head spots - no fading. also have acclimated to aquarium life nicely, not nearly as skittish now, as compared to WC new arrivals.
