What a gorgeous fish!!

Quick question for you. I assume that in CO you have very hard, very alkaline water, no? Do you run any RO water or stick with what comes out of the tap?

Thx Mark ~ she is a beauty! We've had her since August '08, special purchase from Jeff Rapps... currently our favorite Pike!

- - And we appreciate everyone's generous comments ! !

<< we very fortunately have almost ideal tap water for Cichlids, seldom even use conditioner or heavy metal buffers. Sure makes it easier to maintain a lotta tanks + fish, and facilitates frequent water changes! >>

She does not need any man, Jermy!
Here are some more pics took this morning.

She needs a man so that you can spawn them and give us all some babies!

That's a beautiful pike! Do you think a marm would kick a psittacus' butt? If not, I may have to keep my eye out for them in the future.

Yes, easily. A psittacus would put up a fight though, but if a marm wanted to the parrot would be doomed.

Fortunately though psittacus and the larger lugubris pikes work out WONDERFULLY! :D

My psittacus has become a royal pain, so he's about to lose his friendly severum tankmates. I'm seeing new tankmates in his future... ones that aren't pushovers. lol

That's too bad, your Sevs look very nice. I hope you can find a happy medium.

I'm keeping the sevs. :D Well, most of them. They're just moving to a more peaceful tank. That opens up the 210g and lets me find psittacus some new roommates.

Maybe I need to see what MTN PIKE has on their fish list!
