yeah, so i was checking out my micropeltes like i usualy do, and it happened to be taking a crap.

i dont know what micropeltes crap looks like, but this reminded of a tapeworm. long, flat and white.

do micorpeltes crap look like tapeworms?

if anyone can help me with this, it would answer a lot of questions..

thanks.

I have never reared micropeltes before... but from what i know.. fish with white crap means fish is not crapping well, which means fish is not feeling well. :D

Many fish get tape worms, also round worms, there are severaal anti worm food available , one is made by Jungle, garlic oil can help keep worms from getting established but once they do you need something stronger.

I would take a closer look at your fishes "crap". It really sounds like a worm to me. I would take one of these "craps" out of the tank (gloves would be a good idea, as parasites are dangerous) and try to see if it is segmented or has a head.

thanks for all the comments.

yeah, crap is just a real juvenile way to say 'bowel movement'.

but, it looks like a tapeworm to me. i know tapeworms arent fatal with humans, and some doctors say they are healthy. how bout with fish?

he def isnt feeling 100%. split fins, and always eating...
