C.R.E.A.M Load Warning!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Those guys are huge thats pricey at feeden time!!!!

Not to bad but after a couple of years you learn some tricks and find the best deals. And remember when there this big there is no need to feed them constantly. I have gone weeks with out feeding them. I really don't like the football look from over feeding and I also don't want un healthy lazy fish.

Looking stellar as always Mike!! I love your Pinima!! They were my inspiration for becoming a cichla keeper. Just remember that if that RTM is too much of a jerk for you, I'm always here to take it!:D We gotta get together again sometime soon.
Peace.

damn bro those pinimas are looking better everytime :headbang2 cant wait for my little booger to get big enough to go in the 400. do you find that these guys grow pretty quick?

monster pinimas! love the other setup with all the cichlids, must be a royal rumble in there 24/7 lol, what kind of cichlid is the one with the kok, looks like some sort of vieja cichlid

Yea I was thinking it's time for another MFK party. She (RTM) is in a tank (55) with the only remaining Convict that I couldn't catch. She was the last of my Parachromis collection that I wanted so I think she will be here a while. :D

It would be hard to say about there growth because when I got them they were already 17'' but yes they have grown a bit since then. If you look at my first pictures up until now you can see the drastic change in the smaller of the two (pressumed to be a female) we will see. And trust me yes you can wait! These two seem to never get full and in between feedings they get pretty nasty with the other Cichla. I often hear the catfish grunting from there assults as well. But I can't wait to see yours in that 400 as well! :headbang2

The one with the kok is a Vieja Bradohri (sp). Yes this tank is exciting at times. There is a pecking order in this tank depending who's in it. Not in the picture is an 17'' Silver Arow and a 12'' Cobra Pike. The Cobra is the ruler of this tank for the most part. (I think you can see her tail in one of the shots) I just love all the contrasting colors myself. The only real problem is the Red Devils breed in this tank :irked: with out failure. That's when things get a little crazy. But the Orino is no push over he is smart just kind of stays on the good side of whom ever is pushing for control. :D

Thanks everyone. It's a passion that I love and just happy to have a great collection and to be able to share my passion with you all here on MFK.

I'll hit you up tonight bro. I try to get good shots of them but when I approch the tank they go all gaga! Other problem is there in the 100g with the female Vieja Bro.,female Cuban, male Convict as well as one of my hybrids JD/Vieja. So this tank isn't the eaisest to get good picture's in. Like the last picture with the Azul you see how dark it came out? This tank is so deep that light is an issue when they go to the bottom. Don't trip though bro because they will be ready for the 150g soon! :naughty:
