Not really bad at all. I removed all my sand. That is actually what made it difficult. My tank is 90% bare bottom and just the center with decor. The rocks are river rocks so getting in between then is quite easy.

What height is the tank, and what wattage of the lights?
That's nice to hear and glad my tank inspires as in the past many others has inspired me. Though I love the bare bottom look I just have to have some type of decor in my tank. Dieselmacks decor and aquascaping skills sure played an influence on how I wanted my pbass tank to look.
Dimensions of the tank is 96 * 48 * 30. I'm using two Hagen T5 4ft light strips.
