I'm not good at managing aggression, and these guys have just about driven me crazy. The biggest one in a group of 10 (from Mark Chen) killed 3 overnight, and I had to separate the remaining 7 into 4 tanks. Finally got them all pellet trained, and I'm slowly putting them back together.

Here is one of the medium ones. Still small but getting some color and attitude.

Bro they are very mean. I put the bigger male I got from Mark in my 240 w/ much bigger fish. The smaller wild pair I have in a 125 and the male keeps 50% of the tank to himself most of the time. Be careful w/ those Geos. The one I put on the 240 was tormenting my Geophagus brokopondo that I got from you and a wild pair of Atros I got from Mark too.

Lol wish i had known it earlier. My big male is a killing machine and he is still living alone. The Geos seem to be able to keep peace for now but, like you said, probably won't be for long. Every post I read before getting them was about them not really boring other fish. Totally wrong!

I'm getting a few more lol. I'm also considering breaking the pair and putting the female w/ bigger male in a divided 75 and see how they react.

Decker/Peat,

Let me know if you have any left over. I would like to get a few. No intentions of breeding, just adding to my SA scene. ;-)
