Incredible use of a substrate and background moulded together to give a very realistic environment. Topped with some of my favourite cichlids and you got a tank that rivals many great tanks on this forum.

Very Inspirational. This is exactly where I want to be by next spring with my Vieja setup. AWESOME!
Although my fish will have to do a little growing out. I might have missed it somewhere but what type of filtration are you running?

Filteration is very basic. Behind the background is crammed with biological media (foam). You have to drill a inlet hole and a outlet hole, in my case 3 small inlet and 2 outlet holes. There are to maxijet pumps powering the filter. the filter turns the tank over a least 4 times an hour. tubes are attached to the pumps and fed through the outlet holes, then a spraybar is attached to the tubes. The 2 heaters are also behind the background. I think its nice to have everything out of view.ShadowStryder;1335767; said:
