I liked the SA wimps much better. The ones I want to keep are soft water fish though and I did not like keeping them in my 8.0 pH. No plans for an RO unit either. I guess I am back to oddballs. The only cichlids I am keeping is the Carpinte breeding pair and maybe the Sajicas.

That is why i went with the SA wimps, much easier to handle. I'm not having any problems with keeping mine at 8.4 pH. maybe stay away from the wilds and go for F1s, but i really haven't noticed any difference with how they adjust to water. Good luck with your sale. I say just get another big tank, so you could keep the xilo and there is always room for tank, just takes careful planning:ROFL:.

^its $40.

I can probably do less on these by sending 2-day given thier small size.

That is what everyone says about thier pH but my wild Geos were getting HITH. I agree that line bred fish would suit me better, but I think I will just try some oddballs again. Since switching back to fresh, I have not had much that suited my interest for long periods of time.
