This is why I love Californians!~ :D

Hey wouldn't you pay for nicer weather if it was -30 degrees where ever you moved from?

i would gladly move to somewhere cheaper and cooler...

but my entire family lives here, and my husband has a good job thats worth keeping. So until that stuff changes..
i'm stuck here. - OH DARN

BTW its 73 degrees and sunny right now. heh heh heh

I came from Syracuse. So i know the polar opposite of here. (no pun intented)

People pay the money for the weather and the beach. That's the reason they come here.

But lots of people were born and raised here and they've lived here so long they dont pay an arm and a leg for their house because they've owned it that long.
My husband was born and raised on the street we live on. the in laws live next door (its ok they're cool. LOL)
But they have been in that house for 30 years. So they dont pay a lot for their mortgage.

We pay $1650 for our 3 bed 1 bath home.
But it has a nice yard and.... well..... like i said. His job is worth staying for. He works for the county.

yea, but who wants a 12k sq foot house in the middle of nowhere, nebraska?

I just used that as an example b/c of the rediculous price of houseing in CA.

Texas is pretty slick man, I love the Austin culture, not so much the rest of the state LOL.

-30? I was thinking more like Houston/Atlanta/Miami..not Main or Alaska. Like I said, CA really dose have superb weather im not takeing anything away from the upside of cali. I just dont understand how a block of cheese from a CA farm cost a CA resident 5x as much as it dose for an out of state resident? I just think CA residents should kick some *** and find out why they pay 2-6x as much for the goods that they themselvs produce.

not just cheese man, its EVERYTHING! food, sales tax, gas, vehicle registration, fees, fines, and the most irritating one, sales tax on a cell phone. in other states when you get a cell phone on contract you get it for a discounted price, like $99, so your taxed on the $99.

not in commiefornia! theyll tax you on the full retail price, even though you got the phone for a lot less. i just got the new motorola droid a few weeks ago through verizon. paid $99, but i was taxed for the full $559, $60 in bullcrap taxes :irked:

theyll nickel and dime you to DEATH!
