cages for frogs?

Yeah...cages by design are nice but hella expensive. I've always liked the exo-terra terrariums as mentioned above. They are nice because they have a very high litter dam and they open in the front.

But would the exo-terra terrariums be able to house a pixie frog?

A regular tank looks nice . You can get the woodtone frame and it looks nicer than regular tank.

A tank is the way to go with a pixie as far as being easy to work with and certainly way cheaper than other type enclosures.
You will get more space for your dollar than any of the enclosures on the market.

Consider looking into another GF . Less picky one after all they come and go but a well made tank last for years or have her pay for the pricier enclosure.

you can also try craigslist or kijiji. Theres always a killer deal on second hand stuff there:headbang2
