caiman filtration

i have done the hang on filter in te tank in the past for a turtle tank I had, maybe i will do that again... should there be any trouble getting the silicon off when im done with this tank though? its a nice one, wouldnt want to ruin it

When he gets big you may have preoblems with regular canister filter. Is there any type of way you could go with a sump with may natural plant filtration. I have seen pond build where they have water falls that run through diffrent types of plants that naturally clean the water. I am not sure but is an fx5 build for caimen crap?

those r the latest pics i have...

the canister was just an idea for a quick fix for now until I can get him in something bigger, as soon as I get him into a thing that isnt just a tank I will figure out a much better way of filtering it.
