No, they're pretty common from my understanding; apparently they're the most commonly available caiman in the reptile trade.

That's what I read as well. They are cool little critters that I probably won't be able to keep due to its full size.

^They're meaner than gators and gharials, but species such as Nile or Saltwater Crocodiles are meaner by a longshot.

Gharials are nasty? Aren't they just bloody big, but have a docile temperament in comparison? Cool anyway.

at least the false gharials that I have worked with are. I have not had the experience of working with true ones yet.

i love mine. they rnt mean at 2ft iv held mine and hand fed them since they were lil pipsqeeks, koi and chiken!
