Calcium?

I have not done this yet, but would like to inquire. I am all out of calcium powder for my crickets until payday, but I do take calcium pills at night, would it be ok to crush these up and use them for a powder for a few days?

I'm sure whatever your feeding can go a couple of days without dust on it's crickets. Save your pills.

Not sure...but better safe than sorry. Keep the human pills for human use only.

No it doesnt work ... the components in human calcium supplements are different than those of reptile calcium supplements. While both are calcium they have components that are made for two very different body types.

if the suppliment is jsut calcium carbonate with or without vitamin D3 then go for it.

i would buy human multi and calcium suppliment for my two year old 4ft 10lb male green iguana wheni had him.

repti-cal is made from oyster shell, not insects.

I am using Calcium Orotate which is a natural calcium. It's 85 mg. How much do you put on the meal worms for blue birds?
