I am looking for calculators for wall thickness for plywood tanks and any other calculators that will aid me in my build.
Sump calc volume etc ?
Sump calc volume etc ?
agreed 100%Plywood thickness is a guess, there's no set calculator for it. You'll need to either do some math to figure out how much your tank can hold or just seriously overbuild it. Most people seem to opt for over building their tanks.
For the sump, the first thing you need to do is figure out what media you want to use. Then you need to figure out how much of that media for your planned stock. Then, you'll need to figure out how big of a tank you'll have to cannibalize in order to build a sump that will hold that amount of media. As you can imagine, there are too many variables for a viable calculator to exist for a sump.
