Californians Acquiring Taste for Goat

birria tacos is good stuff. i think most people dont try it because it is NEW to them. not everyone likes everything though so some will like it some wont. give it a try though and im sure a lot of you will become goat eaters
 
Ok has Cali been taken over by Haitians? (no offense, but every haitian I know loves goat).
 
i am not haitian. mostly mexicans that i see eating goat though, so im sure other latin communities eat it up too. mexican food is the bomb. try it and you may just like it. maybe not though
 
Ive tried goat. There are some dishes where goat meat rocks and some so-so.
But like CM said, you gotta try it first to find out if you like it.

I live in So Cal and a lot of my family on my wifes side love to eat goat. Goat is big in the filipino culture. There is one version I had where it was really good. It had a lot of lemon and spices which took the gamy taste away, but the actual flavor of the meat is very good. Other ways they cook it just smells nasty so I stay away from that.
