Halo reach was sick. I thoroughly enjoyed the new powers and oddly I liked the sprint power the best. The new assassinations were awesome and some of the new levels were great. I've never really been a COD fan myself. I agree that it is too easy to kill and too easy to die. besides the new cod has a feature where your knife shoots out and will go straight across the entire map killing anyone it hits. lame

Im really not bothered about black ops, I'm waiting too much on gran turismo 5! MW2 is a laugh tho so still keeping that. Also wasnt much of a fan of World at war online so this will probs be just as crap. Waste of money IMO. GET GT5!!! (whenever it comes out)

While they should put more detail into the combat aspect and reached a happy medium a la Gears or War 2 They chose to be more lenient. Multiple hits kill no matter where they land with most weapons unless they are head shots. Where Halo as in Halo your superman unless I hit you in the sweet spot. But if you jump up and down its harder to reach that sweet spot. Both games have their combat problems and while I don't play gears online I think they got the combat aspect perfect. Just because it takes more precision doesn't make it better. I have only played Halo online twice once on Halo2 and Halo reach. I could get with the guys jumping up and down.

Realism and being a game that actually takes skill is different. Yes a sniper doesn't always one shot kill but that's because you have a shield that gets taken down. Obviously that isn't realistic but what can you expect from a futuristic game. Also, it isn't that hard to kill someone jumping up and down. And the sweet spot in every game is the head just shoot for the head and you will kill them 95% of the time. 5% being if they whip out a rocket launcher or something that kills you first.

It's harder to kill in WAW if you don't like the one shot kills right? I personally love WAW and I prefer it over MW2.
I never really was into 1st player games until WAW, then I played MW and MW2 and I realized I liked WAW better. That's just me though. Never played Halo so can't compare.
Does Black Ops have Zombies??? If so, that is AWESOME! can't wait then!
The game engine that Treyarch uses feels just odd compared to what Infinity Ward uses for their COD games. The game play just doesn't feel right. The story is ok and zombies is amazing but online muliplayer sucks. Also, treyarch has this boner for adding tanks in their games. COD does not need tanks.
Hey all I have this xbox clan which will be for black ops. It would be cool to see some fellow fish keepers on it. We play right now only GTA IV and the episodes but once the black ops comes out we will also play that. The website is new but the clan is not. As for this game it will bew awsome. Online game play looks great and the main storyline looks decent enough. I"m liking the new weapons like the crossbow.
