Call of Duty : Black OPS

My basic summary:
It could have been pretty much the best FPS out there. The graphics are swell, there aren't really any bugs, it's a quality product.
That said, the money system banks on the fact that players will want to buy everything when in reality you will see a gun that you like and buy it. Hand in hand, the players do not have to earn anything which at least for me, took away A LOT of satisfaction. I dislike how killstreak rewards do not add to the killstreak though this is understandable for some of them. The maps are well made for the most part with the exception that there are no open fields or places to facilitate sniping. This leads me to my next point, there really is no point in them putting sniper rifles in the game, they are pathetically weak and no maps are really exceptional for sniping. I was a big sniper in other games, so this is irritating. Lastly, people somehow manage to dive through about 6 bullets to the chest if they are knifing you and headshots are almost no stronger than other body hits.
I like the game, though not as much as bad company 2. I believe it's not as good as it could or should be. I'm pretty good at it to boot, rank 50 1.25 K/D.
 
Zombies is for noobs. Quick scoping is even worse, should be a "cheat" uber noobish. The buying system and the wager matches is a waste of space and time they could have spent bettering the game. Nuke town is for children, uber lame, and people playing over and over is getting old . Also i can pwn or get owned, not consistant at all. I get more hit markers then kills most of the time. MW2 is the better IMO.- the quick scope. I hate black ops, but I kept it anyway cuz sometimes it can be fun.

O yeah, i got prestige edition as well, waste of money. 12 AA batterys to run the thing for 5 mins. Should have made car rechargeable.

i love everything that you hate about this game

zombies is great and love playing it when I feel like stepping away from multiplayer

nuke town rules, love that you can revote it, but then it only let's you play it twice

i'm not a sniper, so that makes no difference to me

wager matches is awesome and like zombies, when i feel like something different,............ sticks and stones, 1 in the chamber,.............. awesome and fun!
 
is that the one that changes weapons every 45 secs,............... yes, it's fun, they all are. the one where everyone starts off with a hand gun and after a kill you get an upgrade,.......... it's totally awesome. i think the last one is a sniper rifle,.........

i'm glad they added these extra things to prevent getting bored of the other lobbies
 
I have also become fond of playing Pure Deathmatch. No killstreaks, weapon attachments, and C4/Claymores. Makes the game more even and you don't have to worry about the stupid gunships that constantly spawn kill you. I swear I get spawn killed 5 times in a row because of the spawning issues in this game.
 
just going off my already fuzzy and bad memory, you bashed this game quite a bit in the beginning and sounds like you are starting to like it more as you played on

am i right? just wondering,.......... not that it matters either way

I hate Treyarch. I bashed the game prior to the release because of the hatred. I still don't think it's as good as MW2 but I do enjoy some of the features it has. It's about 110% better game then World at War. And it's about time they make a decent COD game. It would be a lot better if Infinity Ward created it however.

i'm a waw fan since it was my first fps and it's what got me into it

i still go back once in a while when i feel like it. i miss tanks and the maps, but that's just me. i also love waw's capture the flag and spent ALOT of time playing it. and i gotta say, for some reason, i don't like the modern warfare's version and the bo version. don't know why, i like waw's better

it's kind of sad now in a way when i play waw. used to seeing up to 30,000 people playing. now it's down to a miserable 6,000 on friday nights
