Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
But since we buy it from a store who has already bought multiple copies of the game, Activision is getting paid from the store not us.

But then again, if we buy from the store, they have to order more copies.

Either way, we're getting ripped off and both the store and Activision are raking in the money

If you have dealt on the product side before, you would discover that when a company sells X amount of items to a store, it generally comes with a guarantee. If the item does not sell, the store can sell it back to the company.

If GameStop buys 1,000 copies, and only 200 sells, Activision (generally) would buy back the other 800.

This post may have minor spoilers in it...

Played it a bit now. Completed the singleplayer. It is short and worst than the first story wise. It is even shorter than W@W which took me 6 hours to get through. They kind of con you into thinking its more diverse in environments too... space, underwater etc. but your not playing in these environments. Does seem to have more weapons and attachments though. Did like the few stealthy/snipery/special ops levels over the large battlefield ones.

Online multiplayer... don't like it as much as cod4. Haven't really gotten to know the maps or anything but the killstreaks (and deathstreaks) makes it seem more arcadey and unbalanced as ever. Just not as much fun imo, although customisation is better.

Special ops was a great addition, probably its only saving grace. Had more fun with it than all the other modes. And some of the special ops are a bit average, it's a mixed bag. Theres quite a few, but they are all short so probably won't have much legs.

It's heavily overrated and I really enjoyed COD4, particularly the mp. Oh and graphically theres no noticeable change really. Back to playing uncharted 2 for now.

played it last night but just for an hour. i'm not crazy about it but the graphics are more detailed than mw1 i think. it almost hurts my eyes looking at my my 52" lcd. i don't like how the screen get's splattered red when you are hurt though and if you don't die, you have to hide for a moment for the screen to clear up again

overall, i personnaly like world at war multiplayer better.

In my massive rant I missed that. I hate the jam smear all over the screen when your hit. "But it looks more realistic" - not when someones shooting my foot and my health regenerates. It's annoying and you get hit once and you can't see anything. Preferred the old cod4 style again. Spawn points aren't as bad as w @ w but then that wouldn't be hard.
