already on my third one under warranty. @ this rate I will never get out from under it!

Sad but true, Every one of my friends xbox's have had the ring including me twice. Have had a ps3 for 2 years with no probs whatsoever. Dont need batterys for your controllers and dont pay for online play.

I will never buy another 360 again.

My wife almost bought a 360 for me while I was deployed. I got ahold of her in time to stop her an Im so glad. Going to be getting a PS3 but all I have right now is a Wii.

I keep hearing about that, but I've had my 360 pretty much since it came out. It's still going strong. Then again I don't play several hours a day. I'm still keeping mine since Halo: reach is coming out soon.

in order to get ring of death you dont have to play several hours a day...seems you found the needle in the haystack. Lucky you

halo is a good game... but by no means would justify me ever putting any more money into a junk 360, and besides, i prefer realism...halo is too, "fake" for my taste. Good luck with your xbox, im glad they did manage to create at least one good one.

Haha, I hope it lasts too. I play a few hours a week really, maybe more once reach comes out. The only reason I don't have a ps3 is cause I really can't afford it right now, but I would like one. I like both realism and sci-fi for video games. Halo was the first fps I ever played, I got halo 1 two years after it came out, and it wouldn't seem right not playing it. Though there are plenty of games out there better than it.
