Live aquaria has two inchers for ten bucks each...a little pricey compared to what I have paid for them in the past but if you can't get them anywhere else that's how it goes I guess.

If I had a chance at one of these that was a decent size, I'd be all over it. I think these are cool looking fish.
My only concern would be Billy killing it. He's an *******. He even killed his tinfoils! I've never had an ATF do that to me before lol

Lol,I think you've renewed my interest in them with their size potential...I'd been wondering what would be a good dither type fish for my dat tank...don't much care for tinfoils,was thinking about growing out a few balas but now I may look for some nicely priced Apollos to grow out.They might do nicely.
I've got a gift certificate to bluegrass aquatics burning a hole in my wallet. They've got a baby ornate bichir as well as a few Apollo's in stock. I might end up biting the bullet today. I have to buy more fish than I want to use up the certificate. Let me know if you ever leave PA Krich, because you'd be welcome to take a couple.
