Baramundis from my experience are not as sturdy at 2-3". They are a shy and can easily get sick. However, they are happy eaters. The niles are a bit more picky but are more sturdy/hardy. If kept together the baramundis will easily outcrow the nile. But if you feed the niles what they like which is feeder fish then they will easily out grow the baramundis. Grow rate is quite surprising about an 1-2"in per month. Have had my baramundis at 1.5"-2" grow to 3-4" in a month. The nile from 3" grow to 4.5"-5" in a month so it's pretty fast. Biggest baramundi is now at almost 8" was 2.5" about 2 months ago.
