no luck with cons huh? i am new to cons and seriously just randomly paired a couple up. bought a handful of fry from lfs. they all got picked off but one. Got another the same size. looked like male to begin with til i brought it home then she started coloring up. then got a pink from another lfs and threw him in and voila! he started chasing away other female and paired up with 1st female. they've mated and successfully had 3 batches of fry within a little under 3 months now. go figure.

back to the topic at hand. Oceans and Seas on gratiot south of I-696. Cool staff, always got some oddball stock in.

Well I finally got a brood from my one mating pair. The babies hatched but they're starting to look like they're dissappearing. I've removed all other fish other than the dad so I hope he's not eating them....:)

KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN.
mine has to be pruess pets.
I just have a lot of tanks with south and central americans, and some Flowerhorns

I live in Roseville Michigan.
I got more piranhas than anyone should really have.
P.Piraya, P.Ternetzi , P.Cariba,S.Spilopleura, S.Maculatus
And a large collection of fresh imported tropical fish from Argentina.
Geophagus species, Gymnogeophagus species, Australoheros charrua, and Crenicichla Tendybaguassu.

I would have to say my favorite petstore would be a toss up between Oceans and Seas, and the Pet Station. Both stock a lot of cool fish and the owners have great interaction with both customers and suppliers.

I'm in Westland.
I currentlly have a 120 gallon with an NGT datnoid, 12 IT datnoids, a Flagtail Prochilodus, a L14 Goldie pleco and a Juruenese catfish.
I have an empty 85 gallon that I think I will house a Thai Silk Flowerhorn in.
Did the cichlid thing for years and turned away from it and I can say I haven't regretted it yet.
Fantastic Fins is where it's at, all those other fish stores don't know how to act!!:headbang2

hey join my club if your from michigan

Battle Creek, currently have 4 tanks running. 240 GAL, 125GAL,90GAL,55HEX and a whole lot of fish. The best lfs closed a few months back but "the Growing Point" is alot better than petco.
