Calling all Ray owners!

What does everyone feed their rays? I'm newer to the "ray world" and would like to know what everyones ray diets look like. and how often you feed.

I currently have my ray on frozen krill, bloodworms (in little cubes) , shrimp, and night crawlers (loves this treat!).

My ray is not on live food although it has been suggested by my lfs that he has ghost shrimp every now and again, does anyone know why that it?
He is not on feeders, never been on feeders, nor am I even thinking of feeders.


I've been considering the mazuri shark/ray food, does anyone have experience with it?

Very open to suggestions and etc.

I feed my rays nightcrawlers twice a day and Hakari Massivore Delite sinking pellets in between meals. Occasionallly, I will feed them raw shrimp.

i feed market shrimps in the morning and smelts/ mussel at night

I have tried the Mazuri gel diet and I never got my rays to eat it.

The rest of the fish in the tank loved it though.

If you can get your rays to eat it, I think that it would be a great supplement.

I feed mainly shrimp, squid, scallops, and tilapia or catfish fillets. Nightcrawlers and silversides on occasion.

I feed blood worms and earthworms. THe part about ghost shrip, well i bought some red cherry shrimp to help my algea and they made better food for the ray then they did f or the algea.
