WoW! there all really awesome looking.. My atabapo pair laid eggs and they hatched!!! and th efemale has a few frys in her mouth!! woohoo... also my green pair laid eggs in the same tank!! LOL>>>
I officially suck at taking tank pictures.
Here are a couple of my severums. These came from Jeff Rapps. One is a super red but it's more gold as it grows. This is fine -- some of the super reds look way too unnatural to me. Just not my taste. The other I bought as a wild Heros cf. efasciatus 'Red Spot Tapajos' but the red is coming in behind his gills and he looks more like a rotkeil? I'm not sure. Either way, I'm glad to see him coloring up.
I've had these guys for almost 8 months but they're still fairly small. I hope I haven't stunted their growth somehow.
They are in a tank with some wild Mesonauta festivus, Uaru sp. 'orange', keyhole cichlids, and a few other things.
