yeah it is. i saw some large 6" ones for $45 at asian tropical earlier this year.
these didnt look too good, a little beat up. optimum in marietta gets them every once in a while for $30 also at about 2"
Here's my female Gold Severum. She's around 7" long right now. She had a fungus attack her about a month ago which left her scarred and blind in one eye. She's now hand fed because she has trouble feeding herself. Honestly, I'm amazed she lived...

Thanks! He's still recovering a bit after I did a water change. Had moved him out so he'd have a filter and during the process, he jumped, landed on part of my stand and he's a bit injured but doing pretty well. He's extremely aggressive towards other cichlids. So for right now he's by himself.

mine were some what aggressive when they were young, they should grow out of it as they get older
