Calling All you Severum Fans.................

Oops sorry about that , it's Heros efasciatus. Pet smart is not the greatest at correctly labeling their fish. They do OK but on any given day they'll have a few things wrong.

Heros Severus is kinda hard to come by but if that's what your looking for then I'd say give Jeff Rapps a try. He's probably your best bet for finding them.
 
wasnt specifically looking for severus, just thought If I had found one,
I shoud grab it, it will go well with my green and golds

is a turqoise the same as a green? or slightly different?

Well if it was the same don't you think it too would be called a green severum lol.

Here are a few more recent shots of my guys...they've been laying eggs almost once a week and this time it looks like they're doin it right. I just got my DSLR, so I'm still working on getting good shots with it.

They are the same species. The turquoise are considered a color morph of the greens . They were thought to be a seperate species at one time but thats been disproven . They also don't generally get as large and are much better looking.
