Calling All you Severum Fans.................

i finally broke down and moved my bichirs and dat to my 125g tonight. now my severums have the 55g to themselves. they have a ton of fry in the tank now so im hoping that some will make it
 
I love going through this thread. Im currently growing out 10 F1 Rotkeils. I will definitely post some pics when I can get my hands on a better camera.

good luck with the fry. I wonder what F1s from gold x rotkeil would look like.
 
I've been told that they all come out green from any green based severum X gold severum mix. Haven't done it myself though, so can't say for sure. I wonder how much of the red from the rotkeils would still come out, I bet it will really dillute it.

How are those true parrots coming peathenster? You ready to ship me one yet?
 
pea, where'd you get psittacus from? ken at fishfarms? i have 5 that im growing out. one has grow alot larger and faster than the others. how big are yours?

i have a feeling the fry would turn out green

lol the psittacus are doing fine - pretty cool and calm fish. Just starting to have some disputes among themselves.

Yeah Ken got 4 and they are all in my tank now :) supposed to be 1 male and 3 females but I haven't vented them lately.

How big are yours? my biggest is about 4.5".
