Jamie I think you got yours from the same guy I did in Florida?

yeah i think so... mine ended up with some scaring b.c he shipped them in one bad and the one beat the other up the whole trip but they are looking good now...i also have so god awful lighting at the moent...but still id buy them off of you lol:):nilly:

Sue, Thanks for the compliments. My tank is 270 Gallons 84"x24"x31". I have ten wild caught Peruvian Scalare with them. You can see the rest of the stock list in that tank in my signature below. The Sevs were the last into the tank so territories were set and they do not mess with anyone. There is also plenty of space for them to call home.

It is fun to watch the Angels school. The sevs were sold as a pair that had laid eggs before, and they are never more than a foot apart, but have never laid eggs for me. I see her ovipositor once in a while and he responds but I suspect the angels are eating anything laid. I am guessing due to the number of very active egg predators in the tank I don't really stand a chance.

The Geophagus lay eggs and get to the wiggler stage at least once a month, but the angels don't allow any of the fry to grow up. They are pigs.

Spxsk.. they are fantastic... and I see you have them with very nice looking angels... how big is the tank and how many angels (are they wild???) to sevs.. what else is in there.. Love the combo.. I tried but my sev went after the angels fins so I had to rehome him.. so it's gonna be the geo babies and angels.. Maybe I should try with a different sev.. I really like the rotk.. Your red heads are awesome... Sue:D
