Thank you.. he is about 26 inches.. had him since he was 5 inches.. i quess almost 2 years now.. Thank you again..:)

Oh was he an awesome pacu...........wow loved that video of him..what size tank was he in there.. it looked big enough although that pacu was really mammouth size.. how old was the pacu.. i hope he is doing good in the 500gal..now i know he was not easy to move... we had our first Arow in with the pacu and he jumped.. the pacu are too active for Arrow.. i think! Thanks for sharing.. :WHOA:

A 150, but HE did all the decorating...most of the time he was mellow, but when he got ready to eat, it was instant waterchange time, LOL
Buba is 6 years old now and enjoying his wide open 500...

I do not know how i missed this thread.. i am so happy for Buba.. do you ever hear about him?? That is so great you found someone who had a large tank for the giant pacu... did u have him since a baby.. mine were 3 inches.. wow..great story..Liz;)

We keep in touch occasionally.
Actually I rescued him from somebody that I met at my LSF that was going to put him down.:screwy: They had him in a 90g since he was little and never researched how large he would get, even on flakes...One of those keepers that think fish only grow as large as the tank they are kept in...
I just couldn't let that happen. Their reason was rediculous to me, -no time to care for him? I'm glad I got to enjoy him as long as I did, he is a true

I gues I'm a softee that way...I even kept my Aros first scale he poped off...

Thats what i do too...keep everything i can as a momento.. my horses tooth.. haha..very nice picture of scale.. There are quite a few LFS's that lie to everyone and i have heard them actually say to a customer interested in a pacu that the pacu will only get as big as the tank.. and i told them the truth when i had the opportunity.. but it is downright amazing what they will say or do for a sale.. I love your pacu vid and i will watch it again now.. ;) They are true monsters...and that was so good that you saved his life...i can tell from Video he was a happy pacu.
 
Here are my two..one is about 25 inches and about 5 inches thick, the other is a little smaller.
