In Asia Ive seen people put a ping pong ball in the tank with aro to calm him. Plus its supposed to help with drop eye, it helps him look up.

May have to be something that just takes time to grow out of. Adding floating plants can help the aro feel more secure. Also bright colors such as red orange and yellow will often freak out arowana. As far as ping pong balls go, they will do nothing to ease the arowana's nerves nor will they prevent or correct drop eye.

the floating plants are a good idea almost every one in my tank likes them haha tomorrow looks like a good day to go to the fish store, and yep the color red really freaks him out

Thats Funny i noticed the other day when i went to feed my Aro he seemed to freak out and it just so happened i had a bright red shirt on

he'll get better as he grows bigger. i used to have this problem and put a tv in front of the tank for them to get used to movement around tanks. dunno if it helped, but that was what i tried

Lights were a big factor for my Aro when it was small. Now a year old and large, it's become quite calm. Even with young ones running around.

ur a marine? spend too much time away from home, the tank, the aro? thats probably it...if so, spend a whole day near the tank....hehheea
