hey guys i'm really scared..! y just move my 3 yellow calvus and one is 1.5 and the others are1in to a smaller tank..! i know that major water changes are bad for them, and thats why i use the same water of my 55gal tank
they are breathing heavely..would it be fot he water change or for the stress..?

not if the water params are the same. alot of people use the drip technique to acclimate sensitive fish. i use it when i add clown loaches to my tang tank. big ph jump for CLs

they could be freaking out from a quick change in water temp and/or pH. Both not good for fish. Sometimes fatal --for some kinds. If you have different tanks set up with different water parameters, you may need to acclimate the fish when moving from tank to tank. The drip system is best. I do a drip style for about 45 minutes when bringing a new fish home.

well.. everything is back to normal.. the calvus are fine
the water was the same water as in their old set up, and i like to think the temp was the same to. the filter was cycled in the old tank for a month
the thing is that i have dose 3 little buggers in a 55 gal tank for themselves, and it was to much work for me, then i decide to make a change sinces they grow so soooooooooo slow and move'emm to a grow out tank
