EEEEEEEEEEEEEW

I HATE THOSE THINGS> Although i think you may be exagerating a little. They usually only have a legspan of at most 5".

You can find them where i live. They're called Solifugae. We call them Windscorpions. You can find them in tropical or arid habitats.

Look in a woodpile, you might find one.

My family lovingly refers to them as
"Eight legged spawns of satan straight from the pits of Hell"

nasty nasty nasty little things. They're FAST too. And have huge jaws. But they cant actually hurt you or anything. Well in any lethal sense. If those jaws get ahold of you, you can bet you'll have a nice little wound.

no i dont think u do. i think u might be thinking of something else. im from so cal and the only place i have seen these things is in the dead ass plain desert in iraq and kuwait. so if u see these under wood by your house well ****tt let me know and if i where u i would move bc they will chace u. i have pics of baby ones and videos ass well. thanks for the help tho

DUDE THAT IS AN OOOOOLD SPAM THAT HAS BEEN FLOATING AROUND THE INTERNET FOREVER.

i have pics of baby ones and videos ass well
Those babies were most likely adults.

Thats is a real picture, but those things are only 5" long. Look at the hand in the Right top corner of the picture. Thats the guys hand who is holding them. Its an Illusion.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camel_spider

go to that site. Its the Wikipedia encylopedia. It even mentions that picture in the MYTHS section.

quote:
A photograph widely circulated through e-mail shows a soldier dangling two from his hand but, because of another soldier's legs in the background, the perspective is changed from the first soldier's sleeve to the other's feet thus making the spiders appear much larger.

Or go to this site http://www.camelspiders.net/

heck just type in "camel spider" in your yahoo or googe search engine and you'll get like 500 sites explaining that its a Myth

Those spiders do live in california. They have been found in Mexico too.

ya thats 2 of them off the internet. do i need to dig up my photos. ill bet u anything that u do not have the same camel spiders in sandiego that they have in the middle east. and ya they get big, i have seen them the biggest i have seen is a foot long and thats the body the legs where 10 times longer. most of the one we found where 5" to 7" and still they would chase us.

maybe they just havnt found them yet or its a diff kind but i and my buddys have seen one in the hadditha dam in al anabat provine iraq. it had to be a foot big. it was stuck in these old onder ground tunnels

Whatever dude. If all that didnt convince you, i dont know what will.

Even if the Camel spiders you're talking about arent the windscorpions i'm talking about, there is no such thing as a camel spider that gets a foot long.
Maybe the thing you saw was not a camel spider, but a different species of scary ass bug.
