Hey guys Ive run into a problem...

I dont have a good camera myself, so i use my GF's decent Digital Nikon Coolpix camera. It is 5.1 megapixels, and has a 3x optical zoom.

Ive heard on here...
1) the house lights need to be off
2)The Aquarium Obviously must be on
3)The flash must be off

Every time i take the flash off on this particular camera, every picture comes out blurry no matter what the zoom, or anything. If i put the flash on, the picture is way more in focus , but the flash gets in the pic. Now i angle the camera slightly to direct the flash out fo the picture, but its annoying to have to do this all, when i want GOOD pictures.

So here are my questions,
1)how many megapixels have you personally used?
2)How did your pictures turn out??
3)What DIGITAL camera's would you Suggest with a price of no more then 500$.(NEW)
4)HOw many megapixels is typically necessary for great pictures?
10 and 10.1 are great but usually like 800$ . so too much $$$

Thanks guys... let me know what you think!:mwave:

JED's Was *****en!! So's e americanas I forgot his name ... :) He just posted a thread with some awesome pics with his new cam.... :)

I'm using a cam with 2 megapixels and my pics are nice i think :) Though i have used 5 meg and got ****!!! :) 6-10 would be excellent for this... Though if you want good pics and you have a nice 50 meg cam that doesn't shoot pics fast your gonna get the same result as 1 meg :) Personal opinion...

My old one was a Cool pix 5 meg. I get better pics with my 2 meg :) It shoots faster :)
